Employment Trends Presents At Skillsusa Techspo

Kansas City, MO, June 9, 2008 - Employment Trends, a division of one of the largest providers of staffing and employment-related services in the western U.S. - SOS Staffing Services, Inc. - will present at the SkillsUSA TECHSPO in Kansas City, MO taking place June 24-26, 2008 on the topic of "Occupational Trends & Identifying Career Options."

The largest technical educational tradeshow in the nation, TECHSPO is an annual three-day event that encompasses a variety of activities, including an exhibitors' fair featuring top schools and employers from across the nation, a career fair and career-oriented educational sessions.

As an exhibitor and presenter, Employment Trends plans to introduce students, teachers and school administrators to the numerous career opportunities available through its network of sister companies across the western United States. Employment Trends also hopes to form strategic relationships with high schools, colleges and universities, acting as their partner for student career resources.

"We want to be a resource for anyone just beginning to think about their career path or pursuing their first job. With a wide breadth of specialties and established partnerships with leading organizations nationwide, we have a lot to offer job seekers," said Pam Kujala, Director of Recruitment and Retention Strategies.

Kujala and colleague Dee Ruleaux, Director of Business Development, will hold their one-hour presentation on "Occupational Trends & Identifying Career Options" on Wednesday, June 25th at 3pm during the SkillsUSA University sessions. The presentation will cover current employment trends, long-term industry and occupational forecasts, and resources to help students identify their skills and passions and select an appropriate career path.

Employment Trends will be located at booth #524 and invites the public to stop by and learn about the myriad of ways they can assist both job seekers and schools. "We want everyone to know that we can help them identify and locate a career - not just a job," comments Ruleaux.
